In the Fall of 2017, three women Pari Mudiginty, Priyaa Baalaa, and Nithya Murthy with a common vision of educating the community on holistic approaches to health founded Ashram Center for Wellbeing. Buoyed by the response from the community and support from various Holistic/Integrative professionals, ACW is working towards creating a happier and healthier society.
Priyaa has been practicing Ayurveda in the US and India nearly two decades. She completed her (B.A.M.S) Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery degree from the prestigious Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Tamilnadu, India. She has a graduate degree in Psychology from the University of Madras, India and a Diploma in Yoga & Naturopathy. She also studied Acupuncture and Acupressure in CBIATC, Beijing. Priyaa's unique approach to health integrates the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, Marma (energy points), Siddha and Acupressure with naturopathic cleansing, healing and relaxation through yoga & meditation.
She is affiliated to SKY (Master -Simplified Kundalini Yoga) New Jersey chapter, Membership Director in AAPNA (Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America), a Research Scientist in WISE (World Institute of Scientific Exploration), Maryland, USA and an Associate Editor in AJH-Ayurvedic journal of Health.
Dr. Srikanth is a Board-certified Family Medicine Physician in the State of New Jersey, in practice for the past 10 years. She holds a BS from Rutgers University, and Doctor of Medicine from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, New Jersey. She currently practices outpatient Family Medicine with strong interests in women’s health, integrative medicine, and wellness at Capital Health Primary Care in Columbus, New Jersey. Rashmi has been actively involved in her community through projects such as community outreach initiative against childhood obesity, and health literacy initiative for Spanish-speaking seniors in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She presented several talks on health topics such as osteoporosis, nutrition, and wellness.
During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son, singing Karaoke, and performing Indian Classical Dance.
Sri is a community pharmacist with 18 years of experience rendering pharmacy service to patients in both retail and long term care settings. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, from Shadan Women's College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad, India, and M.S in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ. As a community pharmacist, she is closely involved with customers health, counseling them on nutrition and incorporating healthy lifestyle changes to better their health, collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals in optimizing drug therapy and addressing drug interactions.
Passionate about community health and healthy lifestyle behaviors, after graduation, she worked at the National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad as a Field Investigator in a WHO-funded rural outreach program which involved working with women and children.
Pari Mudiginty, R.Ph, M.Pharm, MBA, DAMS
Pari is a passionate advocate for mind-body-spirit approach to wellbeing. She is a NJ licensed pharmacist certified in MTM (Medication Therapy Management), Ayurvedic Practitioner and Founder of Ayurvedashram - a Holistic Wellness Center in New Jersey. She holds a Masters degree in Pharmacy, a Diploma in Ayurveda Medical Sciences and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management.
Through her roles in various organizations; Board Member -Council for Ayurveda Research (CAR), Boston, Research Scientist -World Institute for Scientific Exploration (WISE), Maryland, Full Member -Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society -Yale Chapter, and Associate Editor -Ayurveda Journal of Health (AJH), MA, she engages with scientific communities and holistic practitioners to further evidence-based integrative approaches to Health.
Stanley Krippner received his Ph.D. in Special Education from Northwestern University. A pioneer in the study of consciousness, he has conducted research in the areas of PTSD, dreams, hypnosis, shamanism, and dissociation, often from a cross-cultural perspective with an emphasis on anomalous phenomena that seem to question mainstream paradigms.
A renowned expert in his field, he has authored 3 books, co-authored 19 books and a number of papers over his career.
